Sheep and other farmyard animals graze in a nearby enclosure, ...a marvellous maddened bull , a valuable work of a famous artist, is the sentinel in the garden in the immediate front of the villa.
Large umbrella pines, cypresses and other trees provide welcome shade in summer - though the heat is never too high, as the altitude of Bagnoregio is ca. 500 m. above sea level and there are frequent breezes from the nearby hills.
